Pre-AP Literary Analysis
Ah….don’t you love the smell of literature in the morning?
I am excited about this week because I get to expose you guys to a *wee* bit from two of my favorite books, Great Expectations and To Kill a Mockingbird. We’ll be brushing up on our annotation skills this week, which I expect to see you putting into practice throughout the rest of our time together. It makes reading a text a much more interactive experience!
We’ll plow forward into grammar with verbs (woo hoo) and hopefully get some more poster presentations in.
It’s going to be a great week!

hmm…extra credit for vocabulary words….I can do this….I think…here we go:
No matter how much Rainsford explained that it wasn’t “right” to hunt men, General Zaroff remained obstinate, refusing to give up the hunt until his
“dog-kibble related” death.
=) There. I got that smiley out of my system.
