I miss you soooo much.
Your site randomly popped into my head so I came to it. I have to be the only person lame enough to still leave comments on my 8th grade language arts teacher's website after 2 years of not having her. Oh well.
English sucks again but what else is new.
Come be my teacher again.
Oh and by the way, you told me in 8th grade that donk was like a noun form of cool...

donk means butt.
As in "She got a donk (clap clap, clap)".
Just sayin.

I have quite a lot to tell you, dearest mrs sanders.
I'll come in sometime in the future to catch up & make my "tips on high school" video for the incoming freshmen. Which I am super excited about, btw.
Hope everything's going well for you, I miss you a lot!
COME TO MANSFIELD! (:

WEBCAM COMMENTS?!
Oh my goodness, mrs sanders, you can be expecting a webcam comment from me in the near future. bet your bottom dollar.
I MISS YOU SO MUCH. English is continuing to be death and school in general is literally sucking me into it's big ol mouth and swallowing me whole..if that makes sense.
I'm really starting to miss the simplicity or jr high, or at least the simplicity of everything in eighth grade, how good everything was. High school's hard, Mrs. Sanders. What they tell you in like, intermediate and stuff, about things becoming really hard in high school, they know what they're talking about.
Not even just the school work, but everything. Like the state of mind you fall into when you get into high school...it's scary.
It's exciting, this change, but it comes so fast that it really really makes you long for the stability and comfort of eighth grade. On the real.
But I guess that's apart of growing up, huh? Especially going from kid to young adult..I guess that IS a pretty big change.
Well anyway. I miss you and Mrs.Minardi and Mrs.Rambo and Mrs.McCreery and Mr.Hodgson a lot! I'll try to come by sometime before spring break to say hi, hopefully!

Once again...

Do we need our own copies of "MOTOE"? Just wonderin'. And it is not my fault, I was lookin up Agatha Christie and some of her works and it had a summary and synopsis of the characters and it completely ruined it for me. It should have said it had spoiler warnings... And I have a TERRIBLE solumn face and they forced it out of me, Brianna might have hurt me. :'( I am really sorry... can we blame it on the stinkin bloggers on the internet. :)

I can not find anything in obess ANYWHERE on this thing called the internet. I have looked at just about every site POSSIBLE. It always asks if I am lookin' for obese. ARGH, the internet can be so aggravating. (mad face). So is there anything you can suggest when I am lookin'.

To start this comment...

Lord of the Flies = death
it's not that the book itself isn't interesting, it's that my teacher puts absolutely no thought into any of the assignments he gives us about it. He just finds some stupid study guide and gives it to us and then decides to be so unorganized that we have to cram the reading of the entire book into the 3 day week right before exam week. Then he decides to make us play "popcorn" and read it as a class rather than just letting us read at our own pace and actually get some work done. No, we have to sit there and listen to other people stumble over words and read at such a monumental pace, all while we could, I don't know..maybe..hm, oh yeah, BE GETTING SOMETHING DONE? What a hard concept to grasp! Letting a high school pre-ap class actually read on their own! I forgot that I needed the assistance of 20 other kids to get through one chapter of 'Lord of the Flies'! Maybe if we were just chillin, and had time to finish this book, I wouldn't mind the juvenile game, but when, after a 2 week break that we could've used to read this book, he tells us that we have 3 days to read the whole book, finish the study guide & get ready for the test over it, which is our final, btw, I'm a little ticked that he didn't plan this out a little better. Maybe if he worried a little more about his academic classes rather than his stupid freshman basketball team, there'd be more of a reason for us, the students, to put any effort at all into his class. Why put effort into a class if the teacher isn't doing the same? I mean, I don't think like that cause I care so much about my grades, but if I were a little less uptight, that'd totally be my state of mind.

Anyway, I had to vent.
I miss you and your class, please come to Mansfield next year, I'll totez hang out in your room all the time.

i miss you and your class soooo much, man.
high school has lost some of its glitter, but not completely! aha it's still awesome.
so in english, we're reading Lord of the Flies, and it actually looks semi-interesting, so we'll see how that goes.
I don't know if i told you this yet, but i'm in annie at bass hall! so you totally have to come see that, i'm an orphan, good stuff.
and uh, you HAVE to see honk! at mansfield once it opens, in january.
Oh my gosh, can you believe it's December of 2008 already? It seems like just yesterday i was coming to your classroom early in the morning to hang out witchu & yo' bad self. haha, I'm still waiting for a teacher that has as much donk as you. hahaha ahhh i miss being in. and i miss getting notes from boys in your class and telling you all about my life and laughing at amanda's accent and listening to your incredibly diverse collection of music and seeing your cool clothes everyday and having little surprises thrown into the assignments we had to write down everyday and hearing ruthless sarcasm subtly distributed to people who deserved it and being an amazing vocabulary beast..ah.

enough nostalgia, i'm coming to visit you very soon!

Okay Mrs Sanders, I have 2 bits of totally cool news and 1 bit of half-cool news.
okay the half-cool news is we're reading romeo and juliet in english and since I've read it like 3 times, and since coach dibley doesn't take the initiative to tell these bored, confused students what the heck is going on in the play, I do it. And yeah he just plays a cd with people reading each character and it sucks. I wish he'd let us act it out at our desks like you did.
Anywhoo for the totally cool news.
I'm auditioning for annie at bass hall early november. I don't know for sure how this audition is going to go, but i'm gonna give it a shot cause I'm just barely young enough.
and the totally cool news part deux,
I was eating mexican food with my mom today and we were talking about what I might want to do when I get out of high school, since I'm such a go-getter and want to start thinking right now, and we were kind of going through things I like and we were talking about things in the psychology area and having to do with the human mind and like, going to other countries and learning about their cultures and what not, and the whole time I had something in the back of my head that I've been thinking about since like, mid-eighth grade, and then it finally hit me that I totally want to be an english/language arts teacher. because like, you incorporate your personality into your teaching and you make it so fun and you really make us, or well made me, really WANT to learn about stuff and do the best I could and what not, and like, things i never would've been interested in before eighth grade, like shakespeare and poetry, i'm totally into now and ANYWAY THE POINT IS, you have inspired me to be an 8th or 9th grade language arts/english teacher. cause i want to work with teens, but no one above 9th grade, cause then they like, actually have the guts to talk back to the teacher and I don't feel like putting up with that. But yeah I want to teach teens and make them really want to learn this stuff, cause after seeing how you made much ado about nothing so easy to understand and exciting, and seeing how coach dibley made romeo and juliet so..ordinary..I want to be all out there and fun like you.
OKAY THERE DONE! sorry that was so long, I just thought I should tell you.

i miss you i miss you i miss you i miss you i miss you
in a way my biology teacher reminds me of you but not really.
she makes eye contact with me when she's lecturing, but she randomly scratches the top of my head. which is slightly weird but kind of enjoyable.
but yeah, no, i think you should venture on up to good ol mansfield high. then you could be with your 07-08 preapeeps & regulators until the majority of us are big, bad 18 year olds.
oh in english yesterday, we had a big vocabulary test and get this, WE HAD 84 WORDS. for one six weeks! i made a 93, eh. but whatever, like i don't know where all those words are coming from. he said they were cumulative, but i beg to differ.

anyway i'll be leaving you another comment in a week or two. just to keep you 'in the know'.
teeheee!

but yeah, no, i think you should venture on up to good ol mansfield high. then you could be with your 07-08 preapeeps & regulators until the majority of us are big, bad 18 year olds.
oh in english yesterday, we had a big vocabulary test and get this, WE HAD 84 WORDS. for one six weeks! i made a 93, eh. but whatever, like i don’t know where all those words are coming from. he said they were cumulative, but i beg to differ.

anyway i’ll be leaving you another comment in a week or two. just to keep you ‘in the know’.
teeheee!

my english teacher is not even close to being 'in'.

MRS SANDERS
okay SO high school pwnz my world. i love it. it's awesome possum. but i very much miss you and your class and eighth grade and the lions team, because we dominated in every aspect of the universe.
ANYWAY, i REALLY REALLY REALLY would love to see the 'how to survive mrs sanders class' video. one of your new preapeeps, chung, or yee, whatever she told you to call her, told me you showed it.
AND AND AND, GOOD NEWS, i got cinderella in cinderella at cats. so i would be very flattered if you and your spawn came and saw meeee!
so. that's about it i think. i'm auditioning for macbeth at mansfield tomorrow, too. you know, the one written by your boyfriend.
anywhoooos, i guess i'm done. BUT i am fo shizzley coming to visit you and the rest of the teachers that didn't despise me VERY soon!
